Type III: Early Learning Center
Serving infants, toddlers, and pre-k children
Licensed by the Department of Education, these centers offer a blend of care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. They adhere to stricter regulations than other types of childcare, ensuring:

Head Start / Early Head Start
Serving children who are 6 weeks to 4 years
